Even he needs to go to the paddock occasionally. Annoys me all the stick they get. Yes mistakes have been made but ive been to about 4 test matches since Stokes, didn't go to any while Root was captain. People forget, that we lost Broad and Anderson too, our opening bowlers for over 10 years, its hard to replace o/n. Aussies will find that out in a few years. The only way is to stagger it.
