After stints at Galeria River in Arpoador and Be+Co in Botafogo, it moved to the beautiful mansion that used to house Reduto — a cultural space managed by Marco Nanini and Fernando Libonati — bringing its colorful and flavorful dishes. By popular demand, the baby chili (R$39), served with crispy corn tortilla, pico de gallo, and sour cream, has returned to the menu. Great options for sharing include the zucchini balls with goat cheese (R$39 for four pieces) and the ever-popular burrata no 2 (R$88), which arrives under hot olive oil with onions, capers, roasted garlic, lemon zest, and basil. Some of the recipes change with the seasonality of ingredients, but the classics remain constant. Noteworthy among the starters is the falafel portion (R$41.90 for five units), served on eggplant and beet babaganoush, resulting in an "Instagrammable" pink hue — judging by the number of diners snapping photos of the dish. Another great sharing option is the Asian cauliflower (R$41.90), breaded and accompanied by a slightly spicy sweet-and-sour sauce. In the main courses, the chickpea Indian stew (R$62.90), with sweet potatoes, coconut milk, tomato sauce, spices, and cilantro, served with coconut rice and chapati bread, is a highlight, as is the vegan feijoada (R$62.90), prepared with red beans, pumpkin, and smoked tofu, accompanied by whole grain flaxseed rice, sautéed kale, and corn and carrot farofa. There are also set meal options for R$65.90. For a sweet ending, try the vegan almond brownie (R$35.90), rich in chocolate with a nuts and cashew nut sauce. Mon to Sat, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. PRANA Operating for just over a decade, the restaurant — which moved in 2017 from a small space in Cosme Velho to a three-story building in Jardim Botanico — brings new items to the menu. The highlight is the eggplant parmesan steak (R$53), served with lemon-zucchini risotto and grilled zucchini with lemon pepper. It's described by one of the attendants as a "heartwarming dish." Among the popular starters are the black-eyed pea acarajé filled with palm heart vatapá (R$30) and the portion of mushroom hot rolls with cashew sour cream (R$41 for ten units). Among the popular starters are the mushroom ceviche with mango (R$26) and the portion of quinoa croquettes with ora-pro-nóbis (R$26).
